Have you ever discovered your little one creatively using a flumaster on the wall in the living room? How to remove children's "art" on the walls? How to get rid of stains on the walls?

In the world of parenting, where each new day brings its own set of challenges, from waking up in the middle of the night to the inevitable morning routines, wall stains can seem like a small but persistent nuisance.

While parents try to maintain order and cleanliness in the home, children's curiosity and creativity often cross their plans. And just when you think you've found the balance, you find out your little one's new wall art.

In this constant battle with spots and patches, not everything is as hopeless as it might seem at first glance. In search of solutions, some inventive souls found a very unusual but effective solution.

Hairspray

Yes, you heard that right. Hairspray, it has another, lesser-known function.

And so, with the help of this unusual trick, parents can regain control of the cleanliness of their walls without having to empty their wallets for expensive cleaning services or special cleaners. At first glance, it seems that hairspray has nothing to do with cleaning walls.

Sometimes the best solutions are where we least expect them

The method is simple: the hairspray is sprayed directly onto the stain on the wall, then after a few minutes the stain is wiped off with a soft, clean cloth. The magic of this trick is in alcohol, which is often the main ingredient in hairspray and acts as a solvent that breaks down the pigment in the felt-tip pen.

Hairspray contains several ingredients that are key to its function: hair strengthening polymers and alcohols that accelerate drying. When nail polish is applied to a marker stain, the alcohols quickly act on the ink, breaking down its chemical bonds and allowing the ink to stick to the cloth instead of the wall.

Steps to remove stains from the wall

1. Test in an inconspicuous place: Before spraying hairspray over the entire stain, test it on a small, hidden area of the wall to make sure it won't damage the paint or wallpaper.

2. Spray hairspray: Spray the stain with hairspray, making sure the entire area is well covered. Leave it on for a few minutes.

3. Wipe the stain: Gently wipe the stain with a clean, dry cloth. It may take several sprays and wipes to remove completely.

4. Clean the wall: Once the stain has been removed, clean the area with a damp cloth to remove any hairspray residue and prevent possible sticking or damage to the wall.
