The days of Kobilarna Lipica 2016, which will take place on September 24 and 25, 2016, this time they are preparing a very special treat for visitors. The largest and most popular event in Lipica, which has grown from a one-day event to a two-day one, is preparing an unprecedented spectacle. The white Lipizzan stallions in the hands of the riders of the Lipizzan School of Classical Riding will dance to the beats of the world-famous Slovenian vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile at the Sunday gala show.
Days of Kobilarna Lipica 2016 will take place 24 and 25 September 2016. A varied program for families with children will start at 10 am. A workshop will be dedicated to them on both days Let's get to know the ponies, the Land of Adventures for Children, a market for home-made products and arts and crafts, an exhibition of vintage vehicles, a demonstration of horse shoeing and a stunning culinary offer. The Lipica Stud Days 2016 will reach their peak on Sunday, when white Lipizzaner stallions on the reins of the riders of the Lipiška School of Classical Riding in a unique spectacle, they danced to the sounds of a Slovenian vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile. A mix of classic dressage riding and superb vocals will take place in three unique points, namely the solo performance of the Lipizzaner stallion, the school's attractive jumps above the ground and the "dance" of the carriages on the Lipizzaner Hippodrome. The "stage" will also be occupied by the Lipizzaners of Kobilarna Lipica equestrian guests from Slovenia and abroad, among them also members of the PRC Krumperk Promotion Group of the Faculty of Biotechnology and the Lipizzan police cavalry. As an introduction, the Lipica Stud Days 2016 will be served with an open national championship in team driving, which will start with dressage and skill driving and end with the Sunday climax - marathon running.
