Swimwear for summer 2022: these five irresistible trends will dominate the beaches this year

Get ready because the warm weather will arrive sooner than you think. This year it's all about bright colors, cool details and irresistible patterns, so don't be shy and shine on the beach in something you've never worn before.

Even though it's not officially summer yet, that doesn't mean we can't fantasize about basking in the sun, sipping cocktails, and hitting popular beaches. Many fashion brands have already released new swimwear collections, and judging by the offer, this year will be marked by five trends that we cannot and do not want to avoid.

Ribbed material

Swimsuits with this exciting detail have been absent from the fashion scene for a long time, but now they are back in full glory. It is an extremely stretchy and comfortable material that fits every body. We used to call this material stretch, but we loved it because it dried quickly. If you are a fan of this type of material, you can find them in either one-piece or two-piece form.

Glitter

Swimwear with shiny glitter particles or those with a metallic sheen have been a hit for some time now. They look best on already slightly tanned skin, and come in many tempting colors.

Details

Gold-colored fashion details dominate from season to season, and swimwear is once again decorated with metal and plastic circles that look very chic and charming.

Cuts

Cut out slits are somehow always on trend because they never look boring. Cutouts are most prominent in one-piece swimsuits and look great paired with large hats.

Patterns

You can't go wrong if you choose a swimsuit with an interesting pattern for this summer, be it dots, an abstract pattern or stripes. You can also combine such a swimsuit with shorts and a fluttering skirt.
