The first generation BMW X1 was not the most fortunate product in terms of design, but it must be acknowledged that it brought a lot of enjoyment and excellent driving dynamics to the class of compact premium SUVs. After 6 years and 730,000 vehicles, it's high time that BMW rolled up their sleeves and today presents us with the new generation BMW X1. If you wanted the first generation secretly, with the second generation this love will be completely public. The BMW X1 is simply something you will most likely want.

It all started in 1975 when Alexander Calder did something unheard of. At the request of racer and art lover Herve Poulain, he painted the BMW 3.0 CSL model that competed in the 24-hour Le Mans race. With this, he began to write a very special chapter in BMW history, as the 3.0 CSL is considered the first car of the BMW Art Car collection, which still fascinates art and car lovers 40 years later. On this occasion, BMW collected all 17 such cars in a pile, which are the work of 16 artists who walked the Caldera route. Among them is Andy Warhol.
Low, long and aerodynamic - three necessary features for a drag bike, a motorcycle for acceleration competitions. All three can be found on the Sprintbeemer assembled at Lucky Cat Garage. The French team built it around a modified BMW R50/2 engine chassis and is powered by BMW's R100RS reciprocating engine. They drank it all the way at Edelweiss Motorsport, and added a nitro (NOS) drive for a little more flight.
With the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage concept study, the Bavarians pay homage to their famous predecessor from the 70s. In the case of the modern version of the CSL, which stands for "Coupé Sport Leichtbau" or "coupe, sport and light construction", the latter features are the justification instead of aluminum - together with the Plexiglas, it reduced the weight of the original model by around 200 kg compared to version 3.0 CS - used carbon fiber. These are considered the "aluminum of the 21st century" when it comes to shedding car weight.
BMW honestly rolled up their sleeves because they waited too long with hybrid vehicles. This time, however, in Geneva, we were impressed with the first production car of the BMW brand, which has hybrid technology. They didn't hold back and chose their off-road flagship BMW X5, labeled xDrive40e, for their first venture into the world of crossovers. And once again proved that they can do better than the competition. This is evidenced by the two announced data on the extremely low combined consumption of 3.3 liters and the exceptional stable with 313 horses.
If nature could choose, then it would certainly choose the emission-free BMW i3, and its wild side the hybrid sports car BMW i8. Both BMW i vehicles were presented for the first time in Slovenia at the Crystal Palace in BTC, where the first BMW i pop-up showroom was opened here.
The segment of medium MPVs is hot, as it has not been for a long time. Especially since the never-before-seen BMW recently entered the segment, which will also offer buyers a seven-seater version of the 2 series active tourer in the summer. The Gran Tourer, to which the name refers, is longer than its smaller brother by more than 20 cm, most of which goes to the spaciousness of the second and, for the first time, the third row of seats. It also got a trunk measuring from 605 to 1,905 liters in volume.
When you look at a parked mini, you somehow expect that there is a powerful gasoline engine under the hood and not some diesel three-cylinder mill, as was the case with the test Mini cooper D. This one brings many innovations and exemplary economy for the brand and model, but above all, the most important thing, with it, the mini is what it always (was) ... a Mini. Read below how it fared in our test.
The Bavarians gave their smallest BMW model - the 1 series a thorough visual overhaul, which removed the questionable appearance of the front part and brought it much more coherent and dynamic in the style of the 4 series. The rear has also been changed, where new lights flourish, and more technology is revealed under the hood and two new three-cylinder engines.
The X4 is the continuation of the story with the X6, with which BMW opened a new sub-segment of a crossover between an SUV and a sports coupe and now extends this concept to the mid-size class. Compared to its bigger brother, it has a few less noses, but it's still a feast for the eyes, and considering the similar spaciousness and usability, I would definitely prefer the first one.
Like the Bavarian Golf, the Enica is a well-known model to most people, with its characteristic BMW image, sporty driving characteristics and rear-wheel drive. Less well known is the fact that it recently got the option of four-wheel drive, which makes it even more versatile and useful throughout the year and regardless of the weather and driving conditions. We tested the BMW 118d xDrive!
BMW's model range recently got another version, namely the series 4 gran coupe, which is sportier than the sedan series 3 and more useful than the sports coupe, in the form of the series 4. Thus, it is supposed to represent the best of both worlds, which in practice is partly the case. but not entirely, he confirms. However, it convinces with its image and excellent driving dynamics.
