Nicholas Day, or the feast of Saint Nicholas, is celebrated on December 6 and marks the anniversary of the death of the third-century Catholic saint. Miklavženje is an old custom that has been rooted in Slovenia for almost 200 years.

At the same time, the festive fair will start, and on December 3, 2016, it will be briefly joined by the Saint Nicholas Fair, which will be crowned by the Saint Nicholas Procession on December 5, 2016. But the Saint Nicholas Procession will not be held only in Ljubljana. Find out below when and where the celebration will take place elsewhere.
