Are you ready for a new chapter in another post-apocalyptic franchise? After a year, the sequel to the film Labyrinth (The Maze Runner), which received an extension of the original title - Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, is returning to the cinema screens. Now that we've got the first trailer for the Danny Boyle-directed Steve Jobs biopic, the modern-day Thomas Edison can stop rolling in his grave because it's a much better-crafted biopic than the 2013 one in which he played the tech guru Ashton Kutcher and did not live up to expectations. There was a lot of stalling with this film as well, but still in pre-production, especially around the director (David Fincher was first signed under him) and the main actor. The role eventually went to Michael Fassbender (Prometheus).
Robert De Niro, who is known for many iconic roles, turns into an intern in the latest film, and Anne Hathaway into his superior. Yes, you read that right. Although it's an unusual relationship that seems doomed, Ben quickly becomes an office favorite.
The sci-fi comedy Absolutely Anything is interesting from several aspects. It's a challenge that they give him - and here's another interesting thing - a digitally animated group of aliens, voiced by the legendary members of the Monty Python team. Then there's the talking dog, voiced by the late Robin Williams.
Woody Allen's 51st film, Irrational Man, is, as befits the number, a mysterious love drama and comedy in one. The whole world knows the story of Jesus' resurrection, because together with the crucifixion, it is considered one of the foundations of the Christian faith. But hardly anyone knows this story, which is otherwise described in detail in the Bible of the New Testament through the eyes of an unbeliever. And it is through the prism of a man - a Roman commander - that the film Risen tackles one of the greatest events in the history of mankind. He had one task. Making sure Jesus stays dead because "if his body is gone, we have a potential Messiah."

The Mission: Impossible franchise returns for the fifth time this summer, this time under the title Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation. In addition to Cruise, we will also see some other familiar faces in the film. For now, a little celluloid aperitif.
