The Mannequin Challenge is a new online challenge that is spreading like wildfire among celebrities. It is a challenge in which individuals imitate mannequins, so they freeze in different poses, preferably in unusual ones. The whole thing was 'cooked' by students of the American High School Edward H. White (Jacksonville, Florida), and the video was posted on Twitter by the user @pvrity___ on October 26, 2016. It went viral in no time, and since then there is practically no celebrity who has not tried this challenge. It's hard to say that these high school students also invented it, because fans of the comedy TV series Police Squad (1982) remember that Leslie Nielsen and company became the mannequins at each closing credits, with the difference that at that time it was always someone moved and thus provided a comical contribution.
