After the presentation of the debut, the Luna electric motorcycle, Tarform decided to present a visually modified model based on the so-called "Café racer" motorcycle culture.
Although it does not differ much from the Luna in the Scrambler edition, the new model shows us the adaptability of the existing platform. Tarform Luna will be available in the summer of 2021 and will be available in two variants, and in America it will be available for 24.000 American dollars. The original, or the first presented Luna, was given a nickname Scrambler Edition, the latest version, will hear the name Racer Edition. Both have a common design in a retro-futuristic style, a battery with a capacity 11.8 kWh and electric motor with 55 horse powers. Both weigh around 200 kilograms, and the difference between them is more or less aesthetic.
The Racer version is fitted with sporty ST tires from Avon, and the bike is lowered for bad thanks to the robust suspension 4 cm. The Scrambler version has a different battery case design and a different front headlight design. A distinctive sign of "café racers" is the low-mounted handlebar, which in the case of the Tarform also has the Scrambler model. Electric motorcycles have enough energy for up to 200 km a long journey, which, however, in the case of driving on the highway, may end after 100 km. And since they are technological and new motorcycles after all, they can boast of keyless ignition and a rear camera that shows a wide field of view 180 degrees. The Sonic Aura acoustic system will ensure that the surroundings will be aware of the quiet motorist. In addition to the aforementioned, we can also hope for regenerative braking, connectivity via Bluetooth, a choice of different driving modes and a built-in 3.5 kW charger.
