The Bled Days attract thousands of tourists to Bled every year, and the climax is experienced on Saturday evening, when the Bled Lake is flooded with lights in eggshells and the sky is lit up by fireworks. This year, the Tastes of Bled project was added to the traditional event, which was designed with the aim of bringing visitors closer to traditional local cuisine, which, you guessed it, is not just cream pies. The Bled Days will take place from July 17 to 19, 2015.
Honey will be used for cooking Bled days cared for by local partners united under brand Tastes of Bled. This will make the traditional event even more colorful traditional cuisine, which will consist of an offer that comes from a rich tradition. All three days will be available local specialties so that Bled also has the promise of a unique "Open Kitchen" food market. In front of our eyes, not only food will be created but also products of domestic and artistic crafts, and the event will accompany more plenty of music. They will also take place during the Bled Days Blej's golden microphone, an international singing competition for children, teenagers, youth and adults, which will culminate with a gala concert of the winners on July 18.
Well, the main highlight of the days will be certain lights on the lake. More than 15 thousand eggshells, which he is also preparing this time Andrej Vidic, will illuminate the lake on Saturday at 10 p.m, and another will follow an hour later fireworks, which will only add the finishing touch to the fairytale evening.
