Techrules Ren – Chinese supercar with six engines

Techrules Ren

China's Techrules, an automotive research and development company, recently unveiled the Ren super sports car, which has an unusual powertrain. This is a combination of electric motors, a generator and a gas turbine.

Who says turbines are only for airplanes? Chinese Techrules brought a supercar to Geneva with an unusual powertrain, a combination gas turbines (on diesel fuel), generator and four electric motors. When all six engines are running, it produces just 1287 horsepower, which enable it to accelerate 2.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and final speed 320 km/h.
