For some of us, cutting down on junk food and drinks is often one of the most common and important New Year's resolutions. But recent research suggests you might want to reconsider, at least with tequila. This is supposed to help with weight loss, say scientists.
That's right, tequila is supposed to help with weight loss. According to the 2014 survey tequila is supposed to help lower blood glucose, which helps obese people lose weight. They produce tequila from agave, which contains natural sugars.
Mercedes G. López, one of the researchers who participated in the study, says that the ingredients found in tequila are supposed to increase the level of a hormone that slows the rate at which the stomach empties. Therefore, we feel fuller for longer.

V some other studies the scientists fed mice with a standard diet and added natural sugars to water, named agavins. They found that the mice that had in the water agavins, ate less and had lower blood glucose levels.
Do agavins affect us differently than other sweeteners? Mercedes G. López explained that unlike other sweeteners, such as corn syrup, agavins are not digested, so does not raise blood glucose levels.
