Unbelievably extravagant Chinese airline uniforms

China's Hainan Airlines recently outfitted its crew members in stylish high-fashion uniforms that would put all the world's airlines at a standstill. Don't believe it? Take a look, you won't know if you're on a plane or at a fashion show.

At China Airlines Hainan Airlines they decided to collaboration with fashion designer Laurence Xu, who presented the collection at Paris Haute Couture Week. They inspired the collection traditional Chinese clothes, called Cheongsam, and the uniform itself is a mix modern fashion trends of the Western world and traditional Chinese art elements, such as clouds, waves and Chinese mythological birds.

Xu Fei, brand manager of Hainan Airlines, said on this occasion: “We are not only creating a new uniform, but also showing the international image of our airline. Especially on international flights, we want to let passengers know that it is China modern and trendy.”
