The consumer electronics and 'gadget' fair does not only serve limited things. Every now and then, one of the car manufacturers presents a new car at the mentioned fair. This time it was the long-awaited new Mercedes-Benz CLA, which could quickly be called a 'miniature' CLS.
Design us new Mercedes-Benz CLA it strongly resembles a scaled-down version of the CLS model. CLA is just like that technologically advanced like his bigger brother, he is safe and how attractive a car. The four-door coupe was presented in a version CLA250, which offers an interesting 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbine engine. It has 221 horsepower and 350 newton meters of torque, is related to 7-speed automatic with a dual-clutch transmission, and customers can choose between a drive on front wheel pair or on all four wheels.
If we compare the same engine in the sedan A220, it has 'only' 188 horsepower, which is more than obvious upgrade. Top speed is electronically limited at 209 km/h. We will find out which additional engines will be available and especially which ones will be available from us towards the end of 2019, when we are closer to the arrival date of the new CLA in showrooms. Dimensions they are newbies slightly larger, as it has grown in length and width, and its wheelbase has also increased. Larger proportions are not noticeable in the interior, and the luggage space has decreased by 10 liters, which means that we have available 460 liters luggage compartment.
Inside we have a familiar companion in the form MBUX entertainment and information system. It is available as standard with two 7-inch screens, which can be upgraded to two 10.25-inch screen. We can also think of it gesture control, which comes in especially handy if we don't like the slider on the central console. Upgrades include the latest navigation system and Burmaster Surround Sound sound system. Since it is only a Mercedes-Benz car, so is the new CLA full of state-of-the-art assistance and safety systems, and some of them even come from class S. More will be known about the new Mercedes-Benz CLA towards the end of 2019.
