The Whale: a dramatic arctic attraction we want to visit!

The Whale is a wonderful attraction where we will be able to watch whales and dramatic seascapes in just over two years!

It lies north of the Arctic Circle the Norwegian island of Andøya, and on it the city of Andenes. This area is known for to a large population of whales, which migrate, making this a prime location to view these marine mammals. At Cakes Mandrup that's how they designed the attraction The Whale. This one will stand on the rocky coast of Andenes, its roof reminiscent on the back of a giant whale, will connect the coast and the sea.

They will be inside showrooms, offices, cafe and shop, where they will try to encourage visitors through art, science and architecture to awareness and protection of aquatic wildlife. While walking through the truly beautifully designed interior, visitors will be able to gaze through the glass dramatic scenery and watched whales. The pavilion was supposed to open its doors in 2022.
