In this year's list of the 50 best restaurants in the world, Noma restaurant from the Danish capital Copenhagen took first place. House Franko of Slovenian chef Ana Roš took 21st place and gained 17 places compared to the previous ranking.

Restaurant Noma of Danish chef René Redzepi was opened in 2003 in the Christianshavn district. It was declared the best restaurant in the world for the first time in 2010, and then won the same title four more times (including this year). Awarded three Michelin stars, Noma is known for its creations new Nordic cuisine and has been delighting guests all over the world for years with an innovative offer focused on local and seasonal foods, such as wild herbs and wild, freshly caught fish.
