Things humans touch in 24 hours

Things we touch in a day.

Just as the number of times we look at our phones per day is a surprising number, so is the number of things we touch in 24 hours. Think how many things you touch in an hour. A doorknob, a cup of coffee, a chair, a keyboard... So many different things. Now just think how much that adds up to in one day. Artist Paula Zuccotti explored just that in her project Every Thing We Touch.

Number things we humans touch in 24 hours, is surprising. The proof is the work of the artist Paula Zuccotti, which is in its own project Every Thing We Touch people from different parts of the world (from Melbourne to Madrid) asked them to write down the things they touch during the day, and then she put all the objects in front of her and photographed the collection.

And even though she left out such obvious things as they are refrigerator, hooks, toilet bowl, faucet and microwave oven, photographs are an excellent representation of an individual's life and a kind of diary entry, which reveals a lot about a person.
