When you've had enough of everything... here you go!
One of the biggest pluses of choosing to escape to a cottage in the middle of nowhere - whether for vacation or as a primary residence - is the isolation and freedom from the stresses of civilization and, more importantly, evil neighbors. Well, a digital artist Thilina Liyanage is this concept with Ocean Cabin taken to extremes.
There is much hidden behind this architectural wonder. To begin with, it has an unusual pyramid silhouette, which resembles the houses you are most likely to see in the mountains. However, the house is further elevated (standing on stilts), even though it itself stands on top of an already unstable observatory. Finally, the combination panoramic window and waterfront settings promise some great views, especially when the water is showing its full force.
Unfortunately, this cottage is still a concept for now, but we hope someone has the guts to build something so bold and impressive—and the ability to track down a rock large enough and stable enough for a foundation.
