Until now, it was believed that thoughts are hidden from the outside world and known only to us. Attention! That may change soon. Science has progressed to the point that it is able to recognize everything that happens in a person's head.
Scientists from Massachusetts Institute of Technology have invented a special device that can read your mind. Place it on the side of the head and it's ready to go.
The innovation contains electrodes that sense neuromuscular signals on your face. These signals are triggered by the internal vibrations that occur when thinking.
The device also contains a pair of ti "bone-conduction" headphones, which transfer facial vibrations to the inner ear without blocking the auditory canal. So you can hear everything that is happening around you.
Arnav Kapoor, a leader in the development of new technology, said that he and his team wanted to create a computing platform that closely connects humans with technology and evokes a sense of expanding cognition beyond the confines of the body. Although the thought of a device recognizing your sincere beliefs scares many, scientists have certainly succeeded in fulfilling the goal.
