The new aygo brings a new in-house design philosophy, marked by the letter X on the nose of the vehicle. This makes it quite different from the outgoing model, and the newcomer also surpasses the latter in terms of comfort and driving characteristics, the designers of which have paid a lot of attention to improvements. Prices from 8,690 euros onwards, air conditioning and LED daytime running lights as standard.
Even on the side and rear, parallels with the first-generation Aygo are almost impossible to find, but now it is available in both three- and five-door versions. At Toyotas they say that with the new ayg they should attract many new buyers to their ranks, especially younger than the current average of toyota owners.
The interior, like the exterior, has been completely redesigned, and the gauges are still more modest, but the new aygo has received a lot of equipment that it did not have before, among which we count automatic climate control, cruise control, movable canvas roof and a parking camera.
Five equipment packages are available: X, X-play, X-cite, X-clusive and X-wave, but already as a base, the buyer gets manual air conditioning, ESC, LED daytime running lights, electric windows, audio device with AUX-USB connections and remote central locking. Moving up the scale, the wheels become 15-inch (and alloy wheels on the third level), the buyer also gets bluetooth, switches on the steering wheel and a leather steering wheel.

X-cites and fog lights, a parking camera and better upholstery are added. X-clusive is richer for automatic air conditioning and a lot of extra (chrome) shine on the exterior, while X-wave means the top of the range and is richer for partial leather upholstery, an electrically movable canvas roof and additionally tinted windows (from the B-pillar onwards).
Among the accessories we find the touch screen, which can also take on the role of navigation, and there are also many add-ons available for exterior bodywork and the passenger cabin, with which you can make your aygot even more special, and personalization options include certain parts of the body in different colors, as well as numerous options for stickers and different (colored) rims.
There is only one engine, namely 1.0-liter three-cylinder, which we already know from before, but it is capable of 51 kW or 69 hp, which emits 95 or 97 grams of emissions per kilometer of travel (depending on the gearbox), and it is connected to a five-speed manual gearbox, with an additional payment of 850 euros, and its the place is taken by the X-shift robotic gearbox.
Prices start at 8,690 euros (X) and end at 11,460 euros, which is how much the x-wave costs. They are expected to sell 50 this year and 100 next year.
