The 40s fruit tree grows in the United States, and its creator is artist and professor at Syracuse University Sam Van Aken. These trees are grafted with as many as 40 different types of stone fruit, so that you can harvest apricots, plums, cherries, peaches, nectarines, almonds and other fruits in the crown of a single tree. A kind of Noah's ark for fruit, you could say.
A tree of 40 fruits seems like something out of a fairy tale, but in reality it is the trees that grow happily beyond the pond. Their father, Sam Van Aken, he did not stop at a single tree, but continues with the project and plants them in prominent locations across the US (around cultural facilities in cities such as New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, Short Hills, Louisville and Kentucky) so that people can admire this wonder of the world - his variety of leaves, flowers and fruits.

Imagine going into the canopy and coming back with a full basket apricot, peach, cherry and plum? Although this sounds a bit diabolical with all the genetics that surrounds us, it is completely true a natural process, which is created by grafting trees and due to which the tree has a magical appearance throughout the year. And because it produces different varieties of fruit that they ripen at different times, supplies its owners with vitamins for a longer period of time. It led Sam Van Aken to the project closure of a 200-year-old orchard in New York, which was threatened with destruction. After saving him from the worst with the purchase, he soon after started experimenting and searching compatibility of varieties. And so the tree of 40 fruits was born.
