The iconic Vespa 946 has been dressed this time by none other than Dior and the result is fantastic!
Years 1946 the world of design changed forever. Christian Dior presented his eponymous couture house, Piaggio released its first Vespa. Now the two brands have joined forces as part of an exclusive collaboration they want to celebrate freedom of movement and expression, which are extremely important for both companies.
Iconic Vespa 946, presented in 2012, in the style of haute couture, Dior's creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, is “dressed up”. The new beauty is permeated by the Italian spirit mixed with fashionable French DNA. They are thus added to the curves of the emblematic two-wheeler mythical motifs Oblique and recognizable Christian Dior logo. From seats to the helmet and even the suitcase – all designed for a stylish summer escape reminiscent of the one from the film classic Roman Holiday (1953), when Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck cruised through the Eternal City on a Vespa.
This exceptional limited edition Vespa will be available spring 2021 in Dior boutiques worldwide and in selected Motoplex and Piaggio stores. The accessories will only be available in Dior boutiques. The price is not yet known.
