Wannabesociety

The project was conceived in 2005 as an experiment in invisible design. Fictional images are stronger than reality and the WNBS concept follows suit. T-shirts were created with only one word, black on white, in the most boring font in large block letters. These express individual wishes without superfluous decorative elements, refined, almost boring. They necessarily reflect what someone would like to become, and not what they already are, t-shirts are "wannabes". During the next two years, the project was in a period of incubation and testing, and in 2007 it slowly began to be realized. Today, the project is spread both in Slovenia and in other parts of Europe, for example Great Britain. The word bank, which currently offers 672 spicy words, ensures that their bearer will be the center of attention. The form is at the service of the chosen word, which enables interaction between the individual and the environment in which he moves. The word simultaneously evokes ideas and associations through its communication function. Different individuals in different environments communicate differently using the same word, which provides a unique interaction. If the right one is not in the word bank, we can also suggest our own and thereby contribute to the growth of the community. The only conditions are that the word is associative and positive. The combination of individual experience, past, activity and ambition of the individual ensures the formation of the most personal message. All products are available in black or white, with short or long sleeves, for women and men. The shirts are made of the best cotton and are pleasant to the touch. The word is printed in 3D technology and is resistant to washing. New to the WNBS community are the lucky bracelets, also in white or black, with a single word, this time repeated a fabulous three times, thus working to make our wishes come true.
