What is autophagy - a trend or an old recipe for health?

What is autophagy? In fact, it is a physiological process that is as old as humanity itself and that is woven into the Old Testament in the Bible as fasting.

You can make a milk drink with almond, coconut or some other vegetable milk, mixed with carob, cocoa, honey and fruit. For breakfast, you should eat natural, unprocessed carbohydrates, fruits, cereals, honey. For lunch, vegetables, stews, and especially legumes, as well as vegetable soups or stews.

Another principle of a healthy diet refers to the amount we consume. We must not forget that medicine can also be poison if the dose is not taken into account. And as a third principle we must be careful, when we eat No way at night! If we follow these principles, our organism will be in a safe physiological zone and our body weight will be regulated. Although autophagy is in principle suitable for everyone, malnourished people, pregnant women, children and diabetics should consult their doctor about it.

Among other things, experts believe that autophagy has positive effect on our resistance, because it raises it to a higher level, and they add that this type of diet does not mean starvation, but eating from lunch to breakfast. It is a preventive, therapeutic and detoxifying process that rejuvenates and gives vitality.

The benefits of autophagy are also evidenced by the discoveries of the Japanese scientist Yoshinori Ohsumi, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2016, when he drew attention to the mechanisms on which autophagy is based.

And finally - if you stop eating for more than 12 hours too much, you can autophagy is achieved through physical activity, which leads to sweating and fatigue, as well as by showering with hot and cold water. Just make sure to avoid the head and feet when taking such a shower.
