What can be done to make the hair soft and silky despite the high temperatures?

Summer is the time when hair is drier than usual and needs hydration like the whole body.

Let's see what you can do about it at home. Here are some tips and tricks for soft, silky and shiny hair.

1. Wash your hair twice a week

The most common mistake made by people who want soft hair is washing too often. We agree that nothing can beat the shine of fresh and clean hair, but washing it too often can dull its shine and weaken it.

Stick to a schedule of washing your hair twice a week and use different shampoos on those two days. First, apply a normal shampoo, and secondly, a cleansing shampoo, which will remove all dirt and dead cells from the scalp.

2. Include a hair mask/oil in your routine

Just like you, your hair needs nutrients to grow and stay healthy. First, massage your scalp well with hair oil. It will penetrate deep into your scalp and care for each strand individually. Keep the oil on your hair for about an hour, then wash it off with a mild shampoo.

Another equally excellent option is a hair mask. Choose the one that suits your hair type and apply it all over your hair once a week. This will ensure they get all the nutrients they need to stay soft and shiny.

3. Use heat protection

The constant use of heat devices affects the appearance of the hair in a negative way. Therefore, the use of thermal protection products is mandatory. They are designed to form a protective film around your hair to reduce damage from extreme temperatures. This will ensure that your hair does not lose its shine.

4. Hair serum

Not only does it make hair soft and smooth instead of dry, but it gives every strand a beautiful shine. Coat the ends with a few drops of serum.

5. Let your hair down

It is important that your hair is down most of the time, because when you often put it in a ponytail or bun, you not only create wrinkles and curls, but also break them. After a long time, you will notice that your hair becomes thinner, drier and lacks shine.
