Fall brings a bunch of great things that we look forward to all year - holidays to spend with family and friends, new collections of fashionable boots and coats, tons of good food, and the list goes on. Cold weather also brings changes in the area of lifestyle. All this can have visible consequences for our body and mind, regardless of the fact that we are convinced that nothing can touch us. Hormonal changes occur in our body, mood swings, and our sex life can also change dramatically. So why is autumn good for our body and mind, what good does it bring?
Why autumn is good for our body and mind:
Better memory
If in summer our brain focuses on one task in particular, in autumn it works differently. The research found that our memory improves in autumn, as the responsible center in the brain works faster. Better concentration and higher productivity are also possible.
More sleep
October is the month when people sleep the most. On average, they should sleep as much as 2.7 hours more than usual. Humans also press the snooze button repeatedly. It is actually a defined condition, hypersomnia, which is the opposite of insomnia. Shorter days and longer nights throw our circadian cycle off the rails, so our bodies need all the rest they can get.

Less likely to infect the female intimate area
In the summer, women are more exposed to infections in our intimate areas due to increased humidity and sweat. The colder months are therefore much more favorable to women. Of course, what we wear is important. If we wear underwear or leggings made of polyester, then we will still be exposed to a greater amount of moisture, which can cause infection.
More interest in sex
Studies have shown that in the fall, testosterone and estrogen levels in our bodies rise, so we are much more interested in various bed games. Both women and men have an increased libido, and scientists are of the opinion that the reason for the increased attractiveness is also a change in our wardrobe (the more covered we are, the more mysterious we are).
