The phone charges 10 percent in 44 seconds, while it reaches 50 percent in just 3 minutes.
You may still remember that it is Xiaomi in 2019, he used the 100 W Super Charge Turbo system, with which he fully charged the 4,000 mAh battery in 17 minutes. Two years later, it's still exciting. However, Xiaomi continues to develop fast charging technology and so now presents its own 200W wired charger, which "grinds" 100 W into dust. It also has a new name: Hyper Charge.
As you can see in the video above, the 200W charger can it charges the 4,000 mAh battery to 10 percent in 44 seconds, 50 percent in three minutes, and 100 percent in just eight minutes. Who wouldn't want a feature like this on their next phone?
Of course, there is one potential downside to this super fast charging and that is battery health. We currently don't know how pumping that much energy into a battery affects its lifespan. Hopefully it has no effect or at worst only takes a few weeks off her life.
There is currently no word on when the Hyper Charge technology will reach consumers, nor if the devices will require a special port for it. However, with the latest USB-C port specifications increasing the power delivery to 240W, there's no reason why this won't become a standard feature of mobile phones in the near future.
