Xiaomi has been on an incredible run for the past year. Not only do they make great smartphones for very affordable money, but they also offer everything from an electric scooter to a vacuum cleaner in their product range. This time they present a very interesting smart watch with some extraordinary assets!
Xiaomi is currently the largest manufacturer of smartphones with an operating system Android and we have known it for years for its innovative products. For example, an extremely large number of their electric scooters drive through the streets of Slovenia, and their smart vacuum cleaners keep apartments clean. Although Xiaomi phones are not among the most popular in our country, they are among the best-selling worldwide. Xiaomi currently has as many as 5 smartphone models in the very top of sales.
In the past they have already served s timers and different bracelets for measuring activity. But they didn't have a really nice watch in their product range. This is also why it was a logical step forward Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve.
The latter has a round 1.39-inch screen AMOLED, around which is a stainless steel frame. The screen itself has a resolution of 454 × 454, which gives it an impressive pixel density of 462. The back of the watch is made of plastic, while the front is protected by glass. Watch case continues with a silicone strap, and Xiaomi will also offer a slightly more expensive variant with a leather bracelet. There are also two buttons for navigating the interface on the right side of the frame.
Mi Watch Revolve users will see the “MIUI for Watch” system on the screen, which is cleverly located below Google's Wear OS. With this, the system acquires an excellent "partner". Functional Mi Watch Revolve offers tracking of different types of activities, has GPS, connection Bluetooth 5.0 with the phone and NFC for pairing and contactless payment. The watch also measures blood oxygen saturation, heart rate and monitors the wearer's sleep.
It is also waterproof 5 atmospheres and according to Xiaomi, it also lasts an incredible 14 days in standard mode. An extraordinary amount of features for a watch on the Wear OS platform, which we are really not used to in this price range.
Mi Watch Revolve also has a special power saving mode that turns off most functions and keeps the watch without a charger for up to 22 days. In India, the Mi Watch Revolve will cost just under $149 and will go on sale from October 6, 2020 onwards. There is no information yet on when and for how much money it will be available in Europe. But it might be interesting to order it from a Chinese dealer.
It is an extremely interesting smart watch, which in many ways surpasses the several times more expensive competition.
