Yellow and red elephant

Slon is an educational program of animated films. Selected short animated films for our youngest are colored yellow (3+) and red (7+) depending on the age of the children. Using various techniques, the selected films present heroes from the fairy-tale and everyday world and take children to the expanses of imagination. The Society for Reviving the Story of 2 Reels, which is the producer of the Animateka International Animated Film Festival, has re-distributed 15 short animated films from last year's Animateka Festival. The colored elephants will be shown at Kinodvor until the end of March. The 2 reels association will endeavor to present the program to schools and cinemas all over Slovenia and in this way bring animated films to as many children and their parents as possible. The film programs Rumeni and Rdeči slon are also prepared according to the taste of the children's jury, which during the festival closely followed every animation in the program Slon and selected films that they would like to watch again. The Yellow and Red Elephant programs, which began to impress children with the end of January, also represent valuable starting points for talking with children, and the Elephant Collection, prepared by the 2-reel Association for parents and teachers, can also help. With its pedagogical mentors, the association can also prepare workshops on animated films for children after each screening. In this project, the Society for Reviving the Story of 2 Reels once again connected with the public institution Kinodvor, especially with its Kinobalon educational program. The Yellow and Red Elephants will later go on a trip around Slovenia and try to reach as many children as possible. Yellow Elephant 3+ will be broadcast on March 7, 14 and 28 at 3 p.m., and Red Elephant 7+ on March 8 and 15 at 5 p.m. and March 29 at 3 p.m.
