YotaPhone 2 – 2nd generation dual screen smartphone

If humans have two faces, why shouldn't the smartphone have them too? Last year, the Russian company Yota Devices positively surprised and brought freshness to the otherwise saturated smartphone market with the YotaPhone model, a smartphone that has two screens, the front, as we are used to, and the back, an "e-reader" with electronic ink . Now comes its successor, the YotaPhone 2, with a more advanced and touch-sensitive e-ink screen.

YotaPhone 2 will again try to shuffle the cards a bit in the world of smartphones, which is ruled by Asians and Americans bursting with innovation, because Russians are attacking from the background (also literally). Second generation YotaPhone it also boasts a rear screen with e-ink, which has received a delicate coating and is no longer just a cumbersome (via gesture) and touch-limited secondary screen, but equal to the front one and ideal for clock display, warnings and other information, texting, calling,…

The fact that he no longer lives in his shadow is also evidenced by the technical characteristics: almost 12-centimeter diagonal (4.7-inch) with improved resolution and lighting that can, too in standby mode, in real time shows e.g. photographs. Because in operation, unlike the previous one, it consumes a lot of energy (it does not need lighting), battery autonomy only when using the latter amounts to up to 5 days (with battery capacity 2,550 mAh, which is the same 50 hours standard usage). Of course, the main 5-inch screen, which took over, also took a step forward AMOLED technology and a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
