The studio Warner Bros., which we have recently mentioned only in connection with superhero films (Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Unwritten Squad, Justice League), is not only betting on the DC film universe in the future. At Comic-Con, they also brought a trailer for the long-awaited movie Kong: Skull Island, a movie about the famous gorilla, which will be part of the new Godzilla-Kong franchise. So it's no surprise that the creators of 2014's Godzilla were also involved in the film, which stars Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.
With a movie Kong: Skull Island film studio Warner Bros resurrects the film classic from 1933 (remember, in 2005 the gorilla character appeared in the film King Kong also tackled Peter Jackson, director of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films). At the same time, it will be the second part of the film universe Godzilla-Kong (after the 2014 film Godzilla), which will count four films, in addition to the ones mentioned, a film Godzilla 2 (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2020). The film has a star cast, as they appear in it Tom Hiddleston (Avengers, Thor, Mane Soldier), Brie Larson (Quartorpici, Don Jon), Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers, The Hateful Eight, Shund, Django Unchained), John Goodman and John C. Reilly (Wrecker Ralph, Crazy Brothers, Guardians of the Galaxy). He took over the director's baton Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kings of Summer).

The action in the film is set in the 70s of the last century, when team of researchers go to on the map unmarked island, which lies somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, not knowing (except for one) that with this she will dig into the axis, sorry, King King's "nest". The hulking gorilla immediately lets people know that humans are not welcome on this island, forcing the expedition to make an emergency landing and fight for survival after the helicopter collides with a palm tree.
