The sun's rays raise the level of serotonin, the hormone responsible for good mood. They are also responsible for the synthesis of vitamin D, which, among other things, protects us from softening of the bones and osteoporosis. The sun makes us happy, but we must not forget that it can also be dangerous.

The sun is not always safe. Sun exposure and lack of proper protection are very dangerous. They can cause burns, allergies, a weakened immune system and even melanoma, so we present you with 10 rules of healthy sunbathing, so that your association with the sun brings you a smile and you enjoy healthy skin.

1. Stay away exposure to the sun between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m, when the radiation is most intense. Wear sunglasses and don't forget a hat.

2. Apply protective products 15-30 minutes before the sun, so that your skin is prepared and properly protected.

3. It is very important that you use the right amount of products with a protection factor: a measure of 6 teaspoons is sufficient for the body of an adult of average height.

4. Sensitive parts of the body, such as the area around the eyes, nose, ears, neck, décolletage, hands, as well as the knees and the upper part of the feet, darken more strongly and quickly and need additional protection, so don't forget about them.

5. Brown gradually! On the first days of sunbathing, use a higher protection factor and do not stay in the sun for a long time.

6. Do not forget to apply protective creams to hard-to-reach places - under the armpit and behind the knees. Always ask someone next to you to grease the parts you can't.

7. Every one Reapply protection after 2-3 hours, as the sun damages the cream and lotion molecules. Be sure to reapply after bathing.

8. Remember that water, sand and snow reflect the sun's rays and increase the risk of burns. As much as 90% of UV radiation penetrates clouds, and 50% of radiation can reach you even if you are in shade or shade.

9. Don't stop using sunscreen. If you already have a foundation, i.e. you are already tanned, it does not mean that this color protects you from sunburn.

10. Remember that sensitive children's skin requires special protection. In addition, children under the age of 3 should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
