February 5: World Nutella Day, yum!

It must have happened to you before that you loved something so much that you wanted that thing to get its own holiday. And we're sure that one of those things was the 'holy' Nutella. Well, it already has its own holiday, World Nutella Day celebrates 11 years today, and it's good to celebrate it the way it should be: with a jar of Nutella and a spoon in hand.

For World Nutella Day we can thank the American blogger Sari Rosso, which marked the first World Nutella Day February 5, 2007. It soon became a worldwide phenomenon, and fans shared their passion for Nutella through social networks with the help of photos, recipes, songs and messages. In 2015, she shifted the 'duty' to Ferrero, the company behind this delicious chocolate-hazelnut spread. At Ferrer, they look for this every year Nutella ambassador, someone with Sara's dedication, who then guides all Nutella lovers through the holiday itself.
