According to Feng Shui, clutter can drain you mentally or keep you stuck in the past. Things scattered around the apartment not only look messy, but also stop the flow of energy. What are your premises like? Tidy or messy?

Feng Shui it is based on the idea that there are nine energy centers that make up the bagua, a kind of map of your home, based on which you can analyze the energies that affect your life.

When we change the path of energy in one of these segments, the changes in this part of life can be very powerful.

In addition to clutter, there are other things that have a bad effect on the atmosphere of the living space, and to attract positive energy and well-being, check whether you have them and what it is good to get rid of.

1. A mess in the hallway

A neat hallway brings happiness and satisfaction to the house. If you remove items from the corridor that you do not use, the apartment will be more organized and the flow of positive energy will be stronger, according to Feng Shui experts.

Jackets, shoes and umbrellas can be stored in boxes that you label first and then store in the closet. That way, you'll know what's in which without thinking too much.

You can solve the confusion of finding the right key with a holder on the wall. You can place a plant in the corner of the hall, which does not take up much space. This way, according to Feng Shui, you will accelerate the flow of good vibrations.

2. Potted plants or just dry flowers

Plants attract happiness, love and prosperity to your home, and when placed correctly in the home, they change the energy of the room and bring new feelings to people. In general, it is better to avoid dried flowers.

Feng Shui experts advise that bamboo is the one that brings good luck to the household, and an orchid is also a good choice. Avoid cacti and plants with sharp leaves.

3. An unbalanced bedroom

The bedroom is the most intimate room in the apartment. Put the scattered clothes in the closets, and put the unnecessary things under the bed and in the closets, or at least neatly put them in special boxes or bags. It's also a good idea to remove things that are visually stimulating, such as the television or exercise equipment, from the bedroom.

4. Poor position of the mirror

According to Feng Shui, mirrors should not reflect untidy space, for example clutter, and neither should entrance doors to rooms, because this way all energy and possibilities leave the home. Dining rooms, as well as the living room, are ideal for them, as these are places where you socialize and thereby increase positive chi.

It would be ideal if you could place a floor-to-ceiling mirror to reflect the dining table, but not facing the front door.

It is not recommended to place the mirror against the bed because it brings bad energy, nor above the bed. According to Feng Shui, a mirror placed in this way can be the culprit of bad dreams, as well as problems in marriage.

5. The importance of the kitchen

The condition of the kitchen greatly affects the health of the household, the Chinese believe, while the word 'food' in Chinese sounds the same as the word 'wealth' and this is no coincidence.

Dirty dishes should be washed or put in the washing machine as soon as possible, as clutter and dirt prevent the free flow of energy.

For the same reason, it is necessary to regularly clean the kitchen, especially the work surfaces, and put away items that are not used. Do not store heavy objects such as large pans or kitchen utensils in high cabinets, as they encourage feelings of helplessness.

Knives and scissors should not be hung on the wall, as visible blades bring anxiety and conflict. Instead, get a wooden block to hold your knives and scissors, or store them in drawers.

Things that are generally good to avoid at home

According to Chinese belief, a black door invites bad luck into your home, but not if it faces north.

Avoid an old calendar where you haven't turned the page to the current month or the date stamp has been left in the wrong place.

Throw away broken dishes immediately, as they subconsciously attract problems into your life.
