Folk costume

A distinctive folk costume in Ukraine is called Vyshyvanka. In Ukrainian embroidery, the basic colors are black, red and white, and the additional colors are yellow, blue and green. Vyshyvanka is a plain white linen shirt decorated with floral or decorative embroidery. The costume is worn by both men and women.
