The Other Boleyn Girl (2008)


Sisters Mary and Anne compete for the king's favor and love at the behest of an ambitious family, but problems arise when the king becomes emotionally attached to Mary. Jealous and eager for the throne, Anne hatches a conspiracy that tears her family apart and causes religious changes throughout the country that still characterize British society today.

The Queen (2006)


The film depicts the relationship between Queen Elizabeth II. and British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the aftermath of Princess Diana's tragic death, as they try to strike a balance between the royal family's private tragedy and public expectations of the dimensions and features of mourning.

The Young Victoria (2009)


Shortly after her 18th birthday, Princess Victoria succeeds to the throne of her deceased uncle William IV. Although her mother's upstart secretary wants to force her to sign an agreement according to which her mother would inherit the throne by Victoria's 25th birthday, the girl resists. The mother and the secretary continue to plot and marry her off to the handsome Prince Albert. But they don't realize that Victoria and Albert will soon become very attached to each other and rule over the most brilliant period of English history.

The King's Speech (2010)


King George VI of England, father of the current Queen Elizabeth II, takes the British throne after his brother's abdication. He turns to speech therapist Lionel because of his stuttering problems, and despite the strange therapies, a genuine friendship develops between them. The beginning of the Second World War, however, puts the king in front of a new test, as he must use his example to unite and encourage the British people.

Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute (2016)


Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday. was actually a year-long show: an official four-day extravaganza involving 900 horses and 1,500 performers, the annual Trooping the Color parade, a street party on The Mall in London, and the BBC documentary Elizabeth at 90. The documentary includes never before seen footage of the royal family, interviews with Prince Harry, Prince William, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Charles, who is also the narrator, among others.

A Royal Night Out (2015)


The film depicts the wild adventures of the young British princesses Elizabeth and Margaret on Victory in Europe Day (May 8, 1945, the declared victory over Nazi Germany). Elizabeta and Margareta ask to leave the palace, but they soon escape from the security guards and each of them sets out on their own new adventures.

Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy (2017)


The documentary touches on the life and work of Princess Diana of Wales 20 years after her tragic death. Based on interviews with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry. Both speak openly about their mother, paying tribute to her and explaining how her influence shaped their lives.

WE (2011)


The film tells the story of two women six decades apart. Lonely Wally Winthrop is obsessed with the abdication of King Edward VII in 1998. British, who abdicated the throne because of his love for the American divorcee Wallis Simpson. But Wally soon finds out that the couple's life was not as perfect as it may have seemed. The film jumps back and forth, revealing the early days of the romance between Edvard and Wallis, as well as life in the following years.
