9 tips on how to cool down in high heat

These days, probably the most common phrase we hear is: "Oh, it's so hot!" The mercury rises higher and higher and the heat can quickly become very torturous. Here are some ways to keep cool when there are no fans or air conditioners nearby.

If you are outside in extreme heat, you can use one of the cooling methods below, which will refresh your body and make it easier for you to spend hot days outdoors.

1. As much as possible, you are every now and then slightly moisten the hair with cold water or with an ice cube that you rub on the top of your head.

2. Fill with water bottle with reception, into which you put ice cubes and every now and then Moisturize exposed body parts.

3. The back of the head should always be protected, as this is where our body temperature control sensors are located. Also, every now and then cool down this part, because only this part cools the rest of the body as well. Headgear that protects this area is recommended: larger hats, caps with headgear.

4. If you will treat yourself to a trip in the hot sun, always wear a head covering, which you previously moistened with water. You can repeat this several times during the walk, as the body will have better control over the temperature.

5. How much you wear shirts, you can wet the sleeves with water. When the wind blows, it will keep you pleasantly cool.

6. Legs several times cool with water, as the feet often overheat in the summer. If you wear socks, just moisten them with water.

7. Shower with cold water and drink plenty of water.

8. Wear light, loose clothing, from natural materials such as cotton and linen. Avoid synthetic and clingy materials that trap sweat and prevent the skin from breathing. This in turn makes it harder for the body to cool down.

9. Also watch your dieto/, because when the body digests, it also heats up additionally. Therefore, eat light food, in smaller quantities and several times a day. Treat yourself to one that it will cool you down: watermelon, melon, cucumbers, citrus fruits, tropical fruits.
