Alpine Célébration – the legend returns to Le Mans

Alpine Celebration

The 60th anniversary of the Alpina brand was marked in a very special way, as they presented a prototype - Alpine Célébration. A compact sports coupe with two seats, inspired by the sports tradition of the Alpine brand, with a smooth and refined shape dressed in an intense blue color. The Alpine racing cars with which the brand made its triumphant return to endurance racing in 2013 are dressed in the same blue color, enhanced with orange accessories.

Alpine Celebration revives the brand's timeless characteristics in a modern form Alpine. The low profile, the folded and pleated hood at the front, the concave sides, the characteristic rear window... all this is a clear reflection A110 and other models that have strongly marked history. There is a lot of flirting with them and transformed details from former times.

Years ago, Renault Alpine impressed with the A110 prototype, which was like something from the future.

His surprise and emotional unveiling on his 60th birthday is linked to this year's legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

J. Rédélé (founder of Alpine):

"I chose the name Alpine for my company because this adjective represents to me the pleasure of driving on mountain roads. I had the most fun driving my 4CV with a five-speed gearbox across the Alps. This passionate driving pleasure seemed to me to be a crucial part of the experience that the car I wanted to create should provide to customers. Alpine is a name that sounds beautiful, but at the same time it also has a symbolic meaning.”
