Benjamin Shine: an artist who "draws" on fabric with an iron

Fabric art created by ironing and layering

While most painters use classic art supplies such as canvas, paints and brushes, Benjamin Shine creates with fabric and an iron. He uses the first as a canvas, the second as a means of drawing strokes.

While for most fashion designers, fabric is the material to create fashion creations, British artist Benjamin Shine he uses the fabric as a canvas on which he draws with an iron.

Among other things, he creates artistic portraits (his list includes Barack Obama, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor...) and many other motifs as well.
