The BMW Alpina XB7 combines the advantages of a spacious and luxurious sports car with superb driving dynamics, unparalleled agility and a state-of-the-art and high-performance powertrain.
Alpina and BMW are so tightly intertwined that Alpina's development is integrated into BMW's production lines. This means that the German government has designated them as a car manufacturer, not just a "processor".
It is the latest collaboration between Alpine and BWM BMW Alpina XB7, the high-performance version of BMW's largest SUV. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 can do it 621 hp and 800 Nm of torque, which in practice means that it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in impressive 4.2 seconds, and the maximum speed it reaches is 290 km/h.
At Alpina, they also took a closer look eight-speed automatic transmission, where they focused mainly on the points and the shifting method, which in the Sport and Sport+ modes is optimized for faster and more dynamic shifting. It is also worth noting that a new one was installed on the rear axle electronically controlled differential with partial lock, which should provide even more traction during dynamic driving. The operation of the xDrive AWD four-wheel drive has also been adjusted, which now offers even more traction in all conditions.
BMW Alpina XB7 SUVThe exterior features a subtle Alpina logo, a new stainless steel exhaust system, a deeper rear diffuser, and customers get 21-inch wheels (23-inch as an option). It dominates the interior leather, in addition, practically all possible equipment is available. The finishing touch is Alpina's graphics configuration on the 12.3-inch digital cockpit and information display. The price for the European market is not yet known, but in the US they will have to pay for the BMW Alpina XB7 SUV $142,295.
