Do you find it hard to part with your phone? Do you look at him in bed and he is next to you when you sleep? It's time to learn the reasons why sleeping with your phone is harmful!

Smart phones have become a very powerful tool that people use to carry out their daily tasks, but they can also serve as entertainment. The reality is that we find it hard to part with them and carry them with us everywhere, from school, to work, to the gym and even to the toilet and bed.

Why is sleeping with your phone harmful?

Maybe it's sad, but we wake up with it and it's also the last thing we see before sleep. This is completely normal, people want to be updated, they are waiting for a message or a notification or they just like to use social networks. You should not take your phone to bed with you, especially if you want to sleep.

You can see three reasons below.

It will be harder for you to fall asleep

As we've written, we believe that cell phones and everything that goes with them bombard users with information and that information has to get into your system, that is, it has to be processed by your brain, which further leads to you thinking about these things and thus procrastinating by sleeping.

Try to train your mind, leave your phone at the other end of the room or in another room. If you need it, you'll have to get up to get it.

Smartphones disrupt the sleep cycle

By not using your phone before bed, you reduce your exposure to blue light, which can disrupt your sleep rhythm.

Blue light also affects your internal clock by slowing down the natural release of melatonin before you fall asleep. Our bodies can naturally recognize when it's time to sleep, but this blue light tricks the brain into thinking it's still daytime.

There's a good chance you'll wake up groggy and sleep-deprived, and the best way to prevent this is to stay off your phone before bed. Otherwise, there are filters that reduce this effect, but it is definitely a better solution if you would ban him from entering the bed.

Try this today

Try leaving your phone in another room or at least one meter away. This is also good if you have commitments that mean you won't be able to move the alarm clock for another 15 minutes of sleep. You will have to get up to turn off the alarm. And once you get up, it's the start of the day!

You probably won't even notice the difference if your phone isn't there after a certain amount of time, but your chances of quality sleep will increase, which, admit it, is a privilege in this fast-paced, time-poor world.
