Today, children find it difficult to fill an afternoon if they don't have a smartphone or tablet with them. Not so many years ago, the streets and playgrounds after school were full of children and children's hustle and bustle. Nowadays they live alone or there are moms and dads with really small children. We pulled out a video from 1983, when children were still passing the time with children's games such as gumtwist, hide-and-seek, ristanc, throwing frogs, blind mice, rotten egg, jumping the swing, playing with marbles... Which of these games did you play did you play as a child yourself?
Today's kids they probably can't believe it wasn't there before smartphones and tablets. If today they are staring at a screen together playing mobile games or at best catching Pokemon, they used to play ristance, they went steal the land, well rotten egg etc. That's right, once upon a time, kids really knew how to have fun, even if they only had a hand chalk or two marbles.
