Concert: numetals Papa Roach in Vienna

The California numetal band Papa Roach, one of the most interesting and fresh numetal bands at the beginning of the millennium, is coming to Vienna with the new album Crooked Teeth on September 20. This is their ninth studio album, which was released in May this year.

The story Californian Numerologists Papa Roach dates back to the high school benches where Coby Dick, Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner and Tobin Esperance formed their band in 1993.
Their second, in the USA, took them to the map of world-famous bands and the most adored hard rock groups of the new millennium 3 times platinum album Infest (2000), which also featured an extremely popular single Last Resort. Over the past two decades, Papa Roach have established themselves as the real deal trendsetters in the world of rock music: they were nominated for two Grammys, they toured the whole world (including with Eminem and Marilyn Manson) and created sang the national anthem, which after seventeen years can still be heard on the airwaves.


Ninth studio album Crooked Teeth were released in May this year. It represents their return to simple and 'hungry' roots. From the infectious title track, an atmospheric shimmering ballad Periscope (featuring Skylar Gray), to the hip-hop-infused Sunrise Trailer Park, the album shows the different sides of Papa Roach and illustrates why they still important today.
