Dirt Dessert 2017: International Alpine Skiing Competition

A Slovenian proverb says that you like to go to the third, and at Dirt Dessert they add: "especially if it gets under your skin and becomes a habit". On June 24, the third international mountainboard event Dirt Dessert 2017 will take place on the well-known track below Jošt. This year, too, we can expect an adrenaline spectacle that should not be missed!

Event Dirt Dessert 2017 will start on Friday June 23 with official training, which will take place all day and will continue on Saturday at 11 a.m, when the qualifications will begin in boardercross  for the final showdown of the best drivers mountainboard. Boardercross on the track below Jošt, it is very attractive and exciting, as it allows four drivers to ride at the same time. After the race is over, it will start freestyle competition, where competitors from different countries will show their skills on large jumps, pipes and various objects.
Good music and BBQ on the track are provided. They will round it all off with the awarding of prizes and with entertainment with musical guests.

What is mountain boarding?

Mountainboarding is a mix of sports - skating, snowboarding, with a twist mountain bike and BMX experiences. The sport is very attractive and is rapidly spreading among young people all over the world. New centers are opened every year mountainboard, for example, in England alone, according to the latest data, there are already 19 of them officially registered. This year, the world championship will be held for the fifth time, this time in France.
