The 2016 Emmy Awards were held last night. The 68th Academy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and was hosted by the American actor, comedian and TV host Jimmy Kimmel, himself nominated in the comedy show category (the award went to his British colleague John Oliver). Below, we announce the winners in all the main categories.

They are awarded Emmy Awards 2016. A case of the most prestigious television awards, which were also nicknamed the TV Oscars. And who they were winners of golden statuettes at the 68th award?

She was an absolute favorite TV series Game of Thrones (HBO), which was nominated in every major category (it had a total of 23 nominations) and ended up living up to its role as the favorite, extending its reign for another year and setting the record number of statuettes won (38). She took that away from the comedy series Frasier (37). She also received the most prestigious award, Emmy for Best Drama Series, which is the equivalent of the Oscar for Best Picture. The best comedy series became the second year in a row Vice President. You can see all the other winners below.
