1. Fashion shows never start on time

Fashion shows at fashion weeks start at least half an hour after the scheduled time on the invitation. This allows enough time for all important invitees to arrive before the event begins.

2. Anna Wintour is seated in front of others

The editor of Vogue magazine has an advantage over everyone else at fashion week. Before the rest of the invitees are allowed to enter, Anna is already seated in her seat, gracefully avoiding the media circus in the lobby.

3. First of all, you are not allowed to have your legs crossed

Ladies in the front rows of fashion shows have their legs crossed only until the start of the show. During a fashion show, crossed legs hinder the work of photographers, as raised knees in photos are not aesthetic.

4. Fashion designers give gifts to the invitees

On the seats in the first and second rows, visitors are usually treated to small favors, which fashion designers (or their PR people) leave for them in goody bags.

5. Vacant seats

Fashion shows are rarely attended by all those invited, so it often happens that even those who would otherwise only be allowed to stand can sit down.
