Movies that should have won the Oscar for Best Picture, but never did!

Boyhood was unfairly left without a golden statuette.

The Oscars are no longer just a film event, and the golden statuettes are no longer a mirror of the best that Hollywood has achieved in the past year. No, the Oscars have become another round in the drum of the American propaganda gun. This year's American Sniper is a good example. What is a biographical story with so many holes and hiding the truth doing among the cream of the crop? And not only is the Academy racist, because it only awards a black person every few years so that it can have peace for a while, it also no longer awards statuettes to the best films.

So it makes sense that the list of movies you should get aboutskarja for the best film, but they never did, getting longer and longer. And this year he joined these titles Boyhood (Boyhood years), to whom the golden statuette took away the otherwise excellent Birdman. However, there was a specialty on the tray, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences chose "spaghetti bolognese" again. And it wasn't even the first time. It is the last such case Argo (2012), and a year earlier The Artist and a year older The King's Speech. Each time, the "old men" from the Academy had masterpieces in front of them, such as they are Django Unchained, Zero Dark Thirty, The Tree of Life, The Kids Are All Right, The Social Network and Toy Story 3, but they decided on "only" great films.

All are listed in the audience quoted much higher, but the white elite of judges, who fill envelopes with the names of the winners, made their own decision. But if we are perhaps doing injustice to the aforementioned three winners for the best film, this does not wash away the stain from the Oscars and its politics.

Despite the fact that the Academy has only managed to get past mediocrity and politicking a few times, and has awarded timeless classics such as It Happened One Night, Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, The Apartment, Lawrence of Arabia, The Godfather, Annie Hall, Terms of Endearment, The Silence of the Lambs, Schindler's List, Titanic and finally 12 Years a Slave, but often with her choice, she "covered the whole line" (perhaps that is why the white lines on the marble sinks began to be asserted at the time of the award). Just look at the list of movies that definitely should have won the Oscar for Best Picture, but never did.

With Citizen Khan, the now really long list of films that undeservedly remained only among the nominees began to fill up.

Citizen Kane in 1941, The Graduate in 1967, and Cries and Whispers, High Noon, Goodfellas and Pulp Fiction. The Academy managed a negative record in the late 1970s or early 1980s, when it messed up four times in a row. Namely, Apocalypse Now, Raging Bull, Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T. revolutionary. Well, the statuette was taken away by Birdman, which, as said, is an outstanding film, certainly one of the best this year and one that actually deserves an Oscar. But when it's like that in competition an out-of-series movie as Boyhood, there should be no doubt about the winner.
