Fisker Pear 2025: Revolutionizing the automotive world for the price of a pizza a month

Fisker, long known for its electric vehicles, has unveiled the Fisker Pear 2025, a crossover that promises to set new standards in the automotive industry. The Fisker Pear 2025 will be manufactured in collaboration with Foxconn at a factory in Ohio and will be presented to the public for the first time at the Fisker Lounge in Munich during the event IAA Mobility 2023. The vehicle will feature a new lightweight steel body, with Fisker engineers and designers reducing the number of parts for the 35%. It is smaller than Fisker Ocean SUV, which began shipping in Q2 2023, but features a unique Houdini trunk that allows owners to load and unload in tight parking situations.

Additional features include a drawer-like front trunk that's perfect for storing everything from delivered pizza to sweaty sports gear. The cabin is designed to be extremely durable, with no fragile moving parts, full of storage areas for families with children or people who like lots of storage space everywhere.

The Fisker Pear 2025 will also feature Lounge Mode, where all seats fold flat, including the rear seat, which folds back into the cargo area to create a large space to relax. The Pear will be available with an optional 17.1-inch swivel entertainment screen in Lounge Mode. The five-seat vehicle will have a six-passenger option, with a large two-seater bench replacing the front passenger's single seat and center console.

The interior will feature recycled and bio-based materials to make the Fisker Pear 2025 the leader in sustainability in its segment. The Pear will also form the basis of Fisker's goal of creating a carbon-neutral vehicle by 2027.

The two battery options will provide an estimated range of either 320 km (198 UK miles, WLTP estimate), or an estimated 560 km (348 UK miles, WLTP estimate) for longer trips. The vehicle will be offered in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, riding on standard 20-inch wheels and equipped with low rolling resistance and optional 22-inch wheels with high-performance tires.
