Get ready: a bouncing trampoline bridge is coming to Ljubljana

An event like you've never seen before is coming to Ljubljana. A new bridge will be built across Ljubljanica - and not just any bridge. The biggest trampoline in the world is coming to our capital in August, over which you too can jump over the river.

After water volleyball and a climbing spectacle above the water, they will enchant Ljubljana even more this year new bridge and the biggest trampoline in the world. Sports and entertainment event WOOP! Rejected on Ljubljanica / Made by Akrobat will take place on August 21, and you will not be the only spectators. That's right, everyone will have a chance for free jump over the Ljubljanica myself too.

Agency Extrem and acrobatic group Dunking Devils have joined forces for the project with trampoline park WOOP!, the most famous park of its kind in Slovenia and with a Slovenian company Acrobat, one of the most renowned trampoline manufacturers in the world. The bridge will connect Hribarjevo and Gallus embankment, and in addition to an adrenaline experience for everyone, you will also be able to enjoy the tour competitions at a high international level. They will compete trampolinists from all over the world, and will also take place gymnasts showdown according to the rules of the Gymnastics Federation of Slovenia.

Simon Rožnik, Director of the company Extreme, known for projects such as Redbull's Gony Pony, Spartan Race Slovenia, Triglav The Rock Ljubljana and Plusk on the Velenjska beach, said: "With this adrenaline spectacle we want to consolidate Ljubljana and Slovenia on the map of capitals or of countries that support innovative, sporting and other events with a large media reach. I am proud that the whole event will come to fruition of Slovenian knowledge and cooperation, so we also got to know the company's Slovenian team during planning Acrobat, who, as a trampoline expert, will become the project's technical partner." Marko Knafelc from Dunking Devils, the leading acrobatic group in the world, added: "With the event, we want to bring the visitors closer acrobatics and trampolining and increase their interest in this sport. We want to show that jumping on a trampoline is attractive, safe and fun. At the same time, they can learn all this themselves in the group programs WOOP! Academies in WOOP! Trampoline park.”

The venue will cover 4 trampolines, trampoline wall, trampoline bridge and trampoline park for all visitors, and it will be placed on an aluminum structure above the water level of the Ljubljanica. You can also see more about the event on his facebook and instagram profiles.
