You will find Vnukec easily, as it is located only a few kilometers from Maribor (on the way to the Pohorje cable car from Maribor, at the crossroads at the Mlada Lipa inn, do not turn towards the cable car, but keep to the right, past Pekeri to Limbuš, where you turn left over the bridge and after a good kilometer you are already at the restaurant's parking lot). The restaurant offers a diverse range of dishes: from grandma's cooking to meat and vegetarian dishes, seafood specialties and trout. It is very pleasant for family gatherings, as it offers two large areas (for smokers and non-smokers), a baby changing room in the women's toilet, a children's corner with various toys, and in the summer, in addition to outdoor toys, they plan to set up a sandbox. On Sundays, you won't find a classic lunch menu, but a rich hot and cold buffet. The Sunday buffet is free for children under 6, and half price for children under 12. They also offer excellent natural apple juices from the Faculty of Agriculture in Maribor, which are free of added sugar and preservatives, produced from apples that grow near the restaurant.
