Headspace Guide to Meditation: Learn to meditate with a new series on Netflix

The stressful events we are witnessing, especially the corona virus pandemic in the last year, have consequences on mental health that we may not even be aware of. What is particularly worrying is the fact that there is little content that would help us overcome the crisis more easily and find a way to express all the accumulated emotions. Therefore, every form of support should be accepted and take advantage of what can help us, such as the new educational program on Netflix.

We are talking about a meditation guide called Headspace Guide to Meditation. He prepared it Andy Puddicombe, a former Buddhist monk and creator of the app Headspace. Before we give you three reasons why you should take the time to watch this series, let's add that the animation is fit for purpose. And don't forget that health comes from within ourselves.

1. Accessibility

The program is designed so that it can be followed by people who have never encountered meditation before and want to change that. The creator's exercises and explanations meet the needs of different listeners, and it soon becomes clear that belief change may be slow, but it is achievable. This is a big plus, because everyone likes the unobtrusive tone and the message that we shouldn't make too many demands on ourselves. Instead, it's a good idea to start with small steps, such as expressing gratitude and learning stress management techniques.

2. Animation

We already talked about this aspect of the program in the introductory part, but it still needs to be highlighted. In meditation, a world of pastel colors awaits us, which hypnotize, perfectly complement the text heard in the background, and create a massage bath for the soul.

3. Exercises

As we have already mentioned, the exercises are a sufficient invitation to make a change in your daily life and make a small shift. We can practice them in different environments, but it is important to feel good about it. The correct position of the body must also be taken into account, which means that the back must be straight and the mind open. To begin with, we should consider how we feel in those moments of silence, what thoughts and feelings pervade us. Once again, remember that changes are taking place within us, which some may view as good and others as bad. The road may be long, but now is the time to take responsibility and slowly move towards a better tomorrow!

This is the first of three contents dedicated to meditation, and they are already announcing a new one, adapted to the evening hours, which will be called Headspace Guide to Sleep.
